“Hear, O ye my beloved, saith the Lord: behold, the days of trouble are at hand, but I will deliver you from the same. Be ye not afraid neither doubt; for God is your guide, and the guide of them who keep my commandments and precepts.” (2 Esdras 16:74-76)
Notice a pattern?
…Babylon is fundamentally built to defy God.
But this serves an important purpose.
Whoever can overcome her will be called “great” in the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 5:19).
This means “eshewing evil” in addition to sincere faith and belief.
Some folks claim that the laws are abolished. But if that were true, why the desperation of enticing folks to carry out the very same acts that God said not to do…?
For instance…
Why is pork byproduct put into candy, Jell-O, and marshmallows?
Why is Black Friday the most iconic shopping extravaganza of the year?
Why do the most lucrative careers (i.e. politicians, military, doctors, public service) require swearing oaths?
Why the cult-like obsession with guns in American culture?
Why is there so much enticement to party, nightclub, and engage in happy hour on Friday nights?
Why the culture of pre-marital sex and one-night stands?
Why the explosion of LGBTQIA+ in mainstream media?
Why are obvious pagan holidays like Halloween acceptable, even in Christianity?
Why imprint a reference to “god” on government-backed paper currency at all?
Why so much propaganda to get COVID-19 vaccines “inside” of every person’s body?
Because that’s how you Wage War…
That’s how you win, if you’re trying to Destroy.
So let’s face it…
Except for the disannulment pertaining to the Levitical priesthood (Heb 7:11-24), the laws of God Stand! And many of these sins are Salvation issues, hence the urgency in pushing God’s voice now.
“He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.” (Job 13:16)
The Bible warns that no hypocrite can come before the Father. That means we need to clean up our act while there is still “Grace” for (repentable) sins.
Wisdom teaches us that part of our covering and protection, especially in these last (Violent) days, is our Obedience unto God. So as the days grow more chaotic, let’s make sure we are in compliance with His laws, statutes, and commandments.
…because if we already came this far, then we might as well try to Win the War.
